The story of Under Antarctica is finally online!

It has taken me a little while to find the time for this one, but the full story of Under Antarctica is finally on my website.
Eighty days. Four thousand kilometres. Two of the most remote places on this planet, the Soviet Pole of Inaccessibility and the geographic South Pole, crossed with Matthieu Tordeur on kite-skis, dragging everything we needed to survive behind us.
It is the short version, I should say. The long one is the book I am now writing with Isabelle Marrier with Harper Collins. But it is everything I can tell you for now, and I have tried to be honest about the difficult parts as well as the beautiful ones. There were plenty of both.
What I hope comes through most is that this was never only an adventure. Under Antarctica was a research expedition from the very first conversation. We dragged two ground-penetrating radars across the continent to map ice that almost nobody ever sees, and that data is what I am working on now.
Thank you to everyone who followed us across the ice, especially the 300,000 children in 42 countries who tracked our progress week by week. You have no idea how much that lifted us on the hard days.
